PBS Parents Play & Learn is the first app specifically designed for parents. It features more than a dozen games that parents can play with their children, all themed around a familiar location, including the garden or the grocery store.
Parents can use the bilingual (English/Spanish PBS Parents Play & Learn App to make it easier to take advantage of those “teachable moments” every day through interactive games that are theme-based and hands-on activities that link math and literacy to daily experiences.
This app was created to stimulate a child’s curiosity about the world around him or her and encourage communication between parents and children. The parent notes accompany each game. They provide information about the math and literacy skills in the game, as well as suggestions for how to interact with your child while you play the game.
