Map of Light Pollution
The Integrated Light Pollution Map allows you to find the darkest spots near you so you can see the best night sky. You can save and load your favourite dark sky locations and adjust the map type and overlay opacity to make it more visible. There is also a “horizon safe radius” tool that helps you avoid light pollution from the distant horizon.
Cloud Cover Map & Temperature Info
You can always be sure before you step outside whether it is worth seeing the night sky with an integrated cloud cover map or temperature indicator.
Aurora Overlay
To see the best view of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), overlay an Aurora layer onto the Light Pollution Map.
ISS Tracker
You can follow the international space station live on a map. See when it is flying over your area, who is currently on it, and view a live ISS camera.
Alerts and Notifications
You can configure the app to receive alerts and notifications about the next super moon, meteor shower, or lunar eclipse. You can be alerted when aurora activity has reached a high level and viewing conditions are good at your current location. The app will also notify you when the international satellite station will be flying over you.
