CoronaCheck is the official Dutch app for showing coronavirus entry passes. The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport developed the app. This digital tool allows you to create a certificate that contains a QR code that identifies your negative test, vaccination, recovery, and other information. This permits you to access certain activities and venues abroad. Or at the border.
This is how the app works:
Important: First, make sure that you have been tested for coronavirus.
* Before departure, check on www.netherlandsworldwide.nl whether the country you want to visit requires a coronavirus pass. You should also check the certificate that you will need at your destination.
* The CoronaCheck app allows you to create a certificate based upon your coronavirus or vaccination test results. If you were tested at another test site than the GGD, you can retrieve your data via DigiD.
* You can either create a vaccination record from your current vaccination, or a test certificate based on your negative coronavirus result.
* At the entry of venues or activities, your QR code may be checked. International borders. This proves that you were vaccinated and have not had coronavirus.
