Nearpod, an award-winning instructional program that engages students through interactive learning experiences, is a winner. Nearpod allows students to take part in virtual reality, 3D objects and PhET simulations. Interactive software features allow students to voice their opinions through open-ended questions, polls and quizzes. Students will have fun while learning.
How Nearpod works
1. Students can either join synchronous learning opportunities led by their teachers, or they can learn at their own pace.
2. Teachers create learning experiences or select from the Nearpod library of more than 6,500 experiences.
3. Assessment features like polls, open-ended questions and drawing tools allow students to provide instant feedback.
4. Students are introduced to multimedia content via dynamic multimedia, which includes VR Field Trips, PhET Simulations, 3D objects and Microsoft Sways.
