Duo Mobile is able to integrate with Duo Security’s 2-factor authentication service, making logins safer. It generates login passcodes and can be notified by push notifications to allow for one-tap authentication.
Duo Mobile can also be used to manage two-factor authentication in other applications and web services that use passcodes.
Duo accounts must be activated and linked with Duo Mobile before Duo Mobile can work. As part of Duo’s enrollment process, you will be provided with an activation link. You can add third-party accounts at anytime.
We will also request access to your camera in order to scan QR codes for account activation. If you do not wish to activate your account by using this method, it can be done with other methods.
