Accessibility Service
The “Digital Detox” app might ask you to activate its Accessibility Service in order to prevent you from using addictive or distracting apps. This service is used to prevent you from leaving an ongoing Detox without having to pay an accountability fee or use a quit code (cheating). The service does not collect any personal data.
Device Administration
If the user grants permission, the “Digital Detox” app may use the Device Administrator permission (and only to), to prevent cheating by users – making it harder to uninstall the app during active Detox.
