Cisco Jabber(tm), a collaboration app, is available for Android. It provides voice, video, voice, and presence capabilities, as well as cloud messaging and voice and voice-over capabilities. Cisco Webex(r), Meetings allows you to transform your Jabber calls into multiparty conferencing. This integrated collaboration experience is compatible with both cloud-based and on-premise collaboration architectures.
The following capabilities are supported by this application:
* High-quality audio and video with interoperability with Cisco TelePresence, and other audio/video ends
* IM and presence on-premises, Webex Messenger, or team messaging deployment
* Visual voicemail
* Webex meeting escalation in one-tap (cross-launches Cisco Webex(r), Meetings application).
* Meeting control in Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) meetings and Webex CMR meeting

Cisco Jabber Android Release 14.0 can also be used on a few Chromebook models.

Important: Cisco Unified Communications Manager must be enabled by administrators to enable Cisco Jabber Android configurations. Otherwise, proper connectivity will not occur. Refer to the Cisco Jabber Configuration and Installation Guide for more information.
