TLS Tunnel is a VPN for free that allows users to bypass internet provider and government restrictions and ensure privacy, freedom, anonymity, and security.
Official servers use a proprietary protocol we call TLSVPN. It protects connections using TLS1.3 (and optionally TLS1.2), and is the same protocol used in HTTPS sites. A self-signed certificate was verified at connection to prevent interception.
It does not require registration or payment. All you need is a functional internet connection and the knowledge to navigate through any restrictions placed by your provider in case of blockage.
You can also use your server via SSH (Private Server Option), using the standard port 22 (SSH Standard) or connecting with text and SNI, if the server is ready to receive such connections.
Official servers allow passage of any IPv4 protocol. SSH connections to private servers only allow TCP. UDP is only possible on private servers that are running badvpn-udpgw. Without the UDP connection, you won’t be able access certain services or play online games.
Official servers allow you to communicate directly with other users through the generated IP. Other users will have access to your IP and you’ll be able also to access other users. This is by default disabled to prevent security issues.
TLS Tunnel is free. However, the Private Server option allows you to pay for access to third-party servers. TLS Tunnel cannot be held responsible for private servers.
