SystemUI Tuner does not work magic! It just exposes hidden options in Android. These options may be removed or modified by different manufacturers, and SystemUI Tuner cannot work around.
ADB Commands allow for easier copy-paste (ADB does not have root).

Manufacturers seem to have a problem customizing their devices to the point that some even disable the Android System UI Tuner.
This app is designed to solve that problem by offering a replacement. This app is a copy of Android’s System UI tuner. However, it does include a few additional goodies that Android doesn’t offer by default.
This app allows you to:
You can control which icons are displayed in your status bar. Not every toggle will work for every device.
– Customize Demo Mode.
– You can control the importance of notifications (7.0+; does not work well on Samsung).
– Allow some of the hidden features of Android.
– Toggle Immersive mode.
– Quick Settings Options (TouchWiz7.0 users can modify the grid size).
– You can customize animation speed.
– And many more.
Most features should be compatible with all devices. There will be fewer options for highly customized OEM Android versions (e.g. TouchWiz/Samsung Experience/One UI/EMUI, MIUI etc.). This is a matter of course.
This app will not work on all devices! This applies to all versions of MIUI. Samsung’s TouchWiz Marshmallow 6 (6) won’t work.
Here are some notes:
ROOT is not required for this app. However, you will need permissions to use ADB (instructions are in the app). ADB IS NOT ROOT
The app will try to gain root access if your device is rooted. Although you can refuse access, you’ll need to use ADB in order to grant permissions.
This app will work on all Android Marshmallow (6.0 or higher) devices, with the exception of most MIUI devices and TouchWiz devices 6.0.
This app is not a magical wand. SystemUI Tuner simply exposes hidden options in Android. There is nothing I can do to make sure that there aren’t any options for something or that an existing option doesn’t work on your device.
Immersive Mode can be finicky. It won’t work flawlessly, but I don’t think it will be impossible. It’s an option built into Android. It’s up to Google and your OEM to fix it.
You cannot undo any changes you make! Uninstalling SystemUI Tuner will not undo your changes. Android Oreo (8.0 or later) has an option to reset many settings. However, it is your responsibility to keep track and record what you have changed.
