With PCMark for Android, you can benchmark the performance and battery life on your tablet and smartphone. Compare your device with the most recent models to see how it performs.

Work 3.0 benchmark

You can see how your device handles common tasks such as browsing the internet, editing videos and working with data and documents, and editing photos. You can use Work 3.0 to test the battery life and performance of your device using real applications.

Storage 2.0 benchmark

Slow storage speeds can lead to annoying lags and stutters when you use your device every day. This benchmark measures the performance of your device’s internal and external storage as well as database operations. Each part of the benchmark gives you detailed results, as well as an overall score that can be compared to other Android devices.

Compare devices

The Best Devices List allows you to compare the performance, popularity, battery life, and other features of the most recent smartphones and tablets. To compare any device with yours, tap it. Or search for a particular model, brand, CPU or GPU. To see the impact of OS updates on the scores, you can filter the scores using Android version numbers.

The expert’s choice

“PCMark is a solid example mobile benchmarking done right.”

Alex Voica is Senior Marketing Specialist at Imagination Technologies

“Tests every aspect of a mobile phone, unlike microbenchmarks which can sometimes miss parts of the system that could affect performance.”

Ganesh TS, Senior Editor at AnandTech

“Battery life can be difficult to quantify because of the wide range in possible workloads… The best test for this is PCMark which performs some common tasks rather than purely synthetic loops.

Matt Humrick, Staff Editor at Tom’s Hardware
