Are your eyes tired from reading on your phone at night? Do you struggle to fall asleep after staring at your phone screen for too long? Night Owl could be the answer for you.
Night Owl filters out blue lights and reduces brightness more than you can with Android settings. This helps to avoid eye strain, insomnia, and headaches while staring at your smartphone in the dark.
* Dim the screen, notification icons and notification drawer
* Adjust the filter intensity from the notification or in the app.
* Filter the blue light and customize the tint color
* Set the app to automatically start and stop via a timer or sunspotr.
* Turn off the app by shaking the device. (optional)
* Turn off auto-brightness, and reduce the device brightness to minimum when the app launches. (optional)
* Quick setting tiles can be used to quickly start or stop an app.
Night Owl uses “Display over Other Apps” to add a filter to the screen to make it darker or change its color.
Night Owl Beta feature: Night Owl uses Android’s accessibility feature to display an overlay tinted over the screen (including lock screen and notification screen) to make it darker or change its color. Night Owl does not read any screen content and does NOT collect any data via the Accessibility service. To use the app, you must enable Night Owl Accessibility.
