Kinder is an easy name-chosing app. Kinder allows you to quickly swipe the name suggestions that you like to your right and then dismiss those you don’t.
Based on your location, you get one name set free of charge. You can also purchase additional names sets for a small cost. You can also purchase name sets for your partner.

The library contains over 18.000 names from Kinder. There are many origins to choose from so that you can find the perfect name for your child.

Why is it not possible to get additional name sets for free?
It would be wonderful if they were all free. Unfortunately, this is not sustainable. One set is free, and additional sets can be purchased for a small charge. We hope you get it.

It could be that your connection code has expired. Try inviting each other again. It might not be working. Your time settings may be a problem. Otherwise, the connection mechanism won’t work.
I don’t see the matches.
Matches are updated every 30 seconds. Please bear with us. If you don’t see them after this time, please restart the app.
Will my partner get the name sets if I buy them? Yes! Although it might not appear immediately, purchases made by connected users will be shared.
What will happen to my Kinder’s favorite songs if I buy a new phone?
We’re sorry. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have a way to save your dismisses, likes, and matches. These are still being worked on.
Who manages Kinder?
Krijn Haasnoot started Kinder, the app. After a dinner with some Dutch friends many years ago, I had an idea. I was asked by them how they choose a name for their first child. They replied that they had used the internet, books and their family to help them choose a name. Instantly, I thought, “That can be more fun” and came up with an intuitive swipe-like selection mechanism that was used by another app. But, it would not work with baby names. It should also be able match likes between couples!
Kinder is not the right name. I hope to inspire and get the conversation going in a positive manner. Being a parent is an exciting, sacred, and sometimes stressful experience. Let’s make it a little more pleasant.
