HOW THE GAME WORKS
Kahoot! The following algebraic concepts are covered by DragonBox:
* Additional
* Division
* Multiplication
Kahoot is recommended for children aged five and above DragonBox Algebra gives young learners an opportunity to learn the basics of equation solving.
Kahoot! DragonBox’s Algebra uses a unique pedagogical approach that encourages experimentation and discovery. In a fun and engaging game environment, players learn how to solve equations. They are encouraged to use their creativity and experiment. The player learns how to solve equations by manipulating cards and trying out to find the DragonBox on the other side of the board. The cards gradually become replaced by numbers and variables, which reveal the addition, division, and multiplication operators that the player has been practicing throughout the game.
Although children don’t need to be supervised, parents can help them transfer their skills to solving equations on paper. This is a fun game that parents can play with their children and gives them the chance to improve their math skills.
Jean-Baptiste Huynh, a former math teacher, developed DragonBox. It has been recognized for its outstanding example of game-based education. The Center For Game Science at Washington has used DragonBox games as the foundation of a large research project.
