3 The $20 Purchase Cushion does not extend credit. Faster funding claims are based on a comparison between the MetaBank, National Association policy of making funds available upon receipt payment instruction and the traditional banking practice of depositing funds at settlement. With or without notice, fraud prevention restrictions can delay the availability of funds. Fund availability is dependent on the timing of the payer’s payment instruction.
