The first grocery app to provide helpful shopping experiences for online and in-store, the Food City app. We’ve updated the product information and images to improve your shopping experience. For busy days, we’ve added curbside pickup or delivery options. Our grocery app will suggest recipes based upon your favourite ingredients. These can be added to your cart or list.
NEW AND ENHANCED FEATURES
WEEKLY AD: Clickable weekly ad that allows you to shop for the latest savings and everyday value — all in one spot. You can view the ad in print or as a list.
DIGITAL COUPONS – Our Digital Coupons can help you save time and money. Click to add them your ValuCard. You can instantly redeem coupons at the checkout when you purchase qualifying items. You can sort coupons according to your preferences.
SHOPPING LISTS: Keep organized with mobile access for all your grocery shopping lists. You can use your shopping list to locate items by aisle at the grocery store.
BARCODE SCAN – The Barcode Scan feature allows you to scan products and add them to your cart or list. This feature will allow you to view relevant digital coupons, offers, nutritional facts, and other information.
MY FAVORITES AND PAST PURCHASES: Now you can save the products that you like or purchase often. You can also view items you have previously bought to quickly build your shop or curbside order. All of this information is now available on one screen.
STORE MASTER: This feature is our favorite because you can sort your shopping list by aisle, and then swipe items off while you shop at the grocery store. It is easy to find coupons and offers that are associated with items on your shopping list.
PICK-UP TIME SLOT RESERVATIONS : We have added a Timeslot reservation feature to curbside pickup orders. It displays your pick-up time right from the moment that you start shopping.
SHOPPABLE RECIPES: All recipes are included in the app. You can search for any recipe under Recipes and get suggestions based upon what you like. Each recipe can be shoppable, making it easy to find the right ingredients.
MEAL PLANNER: This new meal planner allows you to plan meals up to seven days in advance. You can create a plan to accommodate holidays, special events, and dietary restrictions by using our extensive collection of recipes. Food City makes it easy to plan your meals and save money.
DIGITAL VALUCARD – You don’t need another card – your ValuCard can be scanned from your phone. You can scan your ValuCard barcode right from your smartphone and use it to register at the register. It’s easier than ever to keep track of your Fuel Bucks.

Curbside Pickup: How does it work?
You can shop from anywhere and at any time. All the benefits of shopping in-store include great selections, coupons, and ValuCard reward points. You can also shop using the Past Purchases option, which allows you to browse a list of items that you have purchased in the past.
GoCart curbside pick-up shoppers will shop for your order just like you would. They’ll select items that suit your needs. After your order is placed, you can use your debit or credit card to pay online. There is no minimum order and you can pick up your order in 3 hours. When you arrive, we will have your order ready for loading into your vehicle. There’s no need to get out your car. That’s so convenient!
