Element – Secure Messenger

Element is both an encrypted messenger and a collaboration app for productivity. It is great for remote work, group chats, and file sharing. The chat app uses encryption at the end to ensure secure video conferencing, file sharing, and voice calls.

Element features include:

Element can be hosted by you or any Matrix-based host. This will give you more control over your conversations and sensitive data. Element allows you to integrate flexibility, privacy, security compliance, and integration flexibility.

Own your data

You control where you store your data and messages. You are protected from data mining and access by third parties. You can take control of Element in many ways: You can get a free account on matrix.org, hosted by Matrix developers. Or you can choose from thousands public servers hosted by volunteers. You can self-host your account using your own IT infrastructure. Simply sign up to the Element Matrix Services platform to create an account on a customized server.

Collaboration and open messaging

Chat with anyone on Matrix, regardless of whether they’re using Element or another Matrix app, or even if they’re using a different messaging application.
