Day and night clock

NightDream

A desk clock that can also be used at night. This app allows you to dock it and adjust its brightness. During the day, the display is bright but dims at night. You can adjust the font size by using a 2-finger zoom gesture.

Daydream

This app can also be used as Daydream starting with Android 4.2.

Quick alarms

You can adjust the alarm clock by moving your finger to the left. You can delete it by tapping in the lower right corner.

Batteries

The time it takes to charge your mobile phone is estimated until it is fully charged.

Notifications

You can turn on notifications for missed calls, GMail and WhatsApp. Android 4.3+: Go to Settings > Security > Notification Access > Enable NightDream. For Android 4.3+, go to Settings > Security > Notification access > enable NightDream.

In-App Payments

Below the time, you can see current weather conditions. This feature can be purchased in the app. The project is open-source. You can send a donation via the in-app purchase.

Permissions


android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS

This allows you to use the night mode of the device.

android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO

The screen can be disabled during night mode. If the ambient noise level is high enough, it can be turned back on. The app records audio continuously. The app does NOT store audio data.

android.permission.WAKE_LOCK

The app can wake up the device from sleep to turn on the screen.

android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

To view background images from an external storage, you will need to have permission.

Lock Screen

This app uses Device Administrator permission. This permission is used only to lock the screen when the app is running. The permission must be revoked before you can uninstall the app.
