Color Gear: color palette

Color Gear is an all-in-one tool that creates harmonious color palettes. Designers and artists use color theory to find the perfect color palette. The basis of color theory is harmony and color wheel. Color Gear doesn’t require you to be an expert in color theory to use it. It is easy to use and suitable for both artists and beginners. This app is perfect for understanding color theory and creating daily palettes.

Choose the color wheel that best suits your needs

The app supports both the RGB Color Wheel (additive) and Itten Color Wheels (subtractive) color models. To create digital colors, RGB (primary colours are Red, Green and Blue) is used. RYB color circle (Red Yellow, Blue) refers specifically to color as paint or pigment in art and design. You can choose from one of the 10+ color schemes for RGB or RYB Color wheel (Itten Circle)

Simply type the color name (HEX, RGB) to find color harmonies that match this color.

Palette extractor: Ability to extract colors from images

This feature can transform your photos into palettes. Find out what colors are in photos. The application will automatically extract colors from images that you select from your gallery. You can also manually select colors from the image using the Color Picker (eyedropper). Copy a specific HEX code under color swatch and paste it in the first Tab – you’ll find different color harmonies that match your particular color in the image.

Save the Palette with the Image

You can create a collage with this feature. Select a layout and place it on the image. You can also save it or share it via social media.

Advanced color editing tool

You can edit the color values (Hue Saturation, Lightness, etc.) by clicking on the swatch.

It is easy to share and manage

You can easily save, share, remove, or edit already saved palettes. Swipe from your saved palette to open the menu. Copy a HEX code from color swatches and save it to your clipboard. There are six color formats in palette info: HEX (RGB), LAB, HSV/HSL, CMYK, HEX and LAB. Color wheel RGB, RYB, 10+ colour harmony schemes, ability to enter a code (color name), ability get a palette from an image or photo, Color Picker (color grab), color detector, and the ability to save the palette with the image.
