Canon Camera Connect allows you to transfer images from compatible Canon cameras to your smartphone/tablet.
This application allows you to connect to a camera via Wi-Fi (direct or wireless) and provides the following features:
Save and transfer camera images to your smartphone.
Remote shooting with live view of the camera via a smartphone
The following features are also available in this application for compatible cameras.
Locate the location information on a smartphone and then add it to the image.
You can switch to Wi-Fi by pairing with a Bluetooth enabled camera or using touch operation with NFC enabled cameras.
Remote shutter release via Bluetooth.

Requirements for -Bluetooth Systems
Bluetooth connection requires that the camera have a Bluetooth function. Your Android device must have Bluetooth 4.0 (supports Bluetooth Low Energy technology) and Android 5.0 or higher.

-Compatible File Types
JPEG, MP4, MOV
It is not possible to import original RAW files. RAW files are resized into JPEG.
It is impossible to save MOV files or 8K movie files taken with EOS cameras.
RAW files and HEIF (10 bits) from compatible cameras can’t be saved.
Camcorder files containing AVCHD cannot be saved.
-Important Notes
If the application is not working properly, close it and restart it.
This application may not work on all Android devices.
If you are using Power Zoom Adapter please turn the Live View feature to ON.
To make the same connection next time, check the box if the OS network confirmation dialog appears.
Images may contain your personal information, such as GPS data. It is important to be careful when uploading images online so others can see them.
