ArgoVPN offers several key features, such as Falcon and Bridges. Falcon allows you to register your domain name and allow it to be used within ArgoVPN.
Another feature is “ArgoVPN bridge”, which allows you to connect to ArgoVPN server via non-public addresses.
Filtershekanha has added features to ArgoVPN, which are typically only available in commercial VPNs. ArgoVPN includes a firewall that allows you block certain websites. This will continue to be blocked for as long as you’re connected to ArgoVPN’s servers. Cloudflare Malware and Cloudflare Family are also available to ArgoVPN users. This allows you to have both the benefits of “ArgoVPN Firewall” and “Cloudflare Family” at once.
ArgoVPN can also exclude specific URLs. You can, for example, exclude download sites from the “exceptions” list. This ensures that the traffic to the specific website is not blocked by ArgoVPN when you connect to the Internet via ArgoVPN.
Other features included in ArgoVPN include DNS server, DNS leak prevention and Kill-Switch (STILL INTACT STAGE), which excludes certain apps from ArgoVPN’s tunnel. Based on user feedback, we will continue to add features to ArgoVPN.
ArgoVPN’s security and privacy are the main features. Your connection to ArgoVPN is encrypted with AES-GCM-128 or ChaCha20–Poly1305 ciphers. Your smartphone’s processor architecture determines the cipher that is used to provide the fastest possible Internet access for online services. Your connection’s encryption key is generated randomly after each connection. This is different from the last one. This is accomplished by Argo Authenticator, our proprietary protocol.
This protocol was created by The Filtershekanha team to allow endpoint server authentication, secure and fast encryption key exchanges between client and server.
Cure53 reviewed ArgoVPN in two iterations, the first in February 2020, and the second in April 2020. Cure53 focused on security and privacy aspects during the reviews and audits.
