What is Anatomy and Physiology?
Anatomy refers to the study of the relationship between the body’s parts and the structure.
Physiology studies the function of individual body parts and the whole body. These sciences have some specializations.
Gross (or macroscopical) anatomy refers to the study of the body’s visible parts, such as the heart and bones.
Histology refers to the study of tissue at the microscopic level.
Cytology refers to the study of cells at the microscopic scale.
Neurophysiology studies the function of the nervous system.
