Samsung Print Service allows wireless printing to Samsung printers, as well as many other printer brands, by integrating Mopria technology. Nearly all of the new printers manufactured by Brother, Canon and Fuji Xerox today are Mopria certified. This allows you to print photos, web pages and documents from your favorite apps, as well as recipes, coupons and coupons. You can also control the print settings, including color, number and orientation of paper, double-sided printing, and paper orientation.
This system tool comes pre-installed on all Samsung Galaxy phones. This plug-in is compatible with any Android tablet or phone running KitKat (4.4 or higher) and will allow you to print from your mobile device.
COMPATIBILITY OF TABLET AND PHONE
Samsung Galaxy Phones/Tablets: The Samsung Print Service plug in is pre-installed for S4, S5, S6, S7, and many other Samsung smartphones & tablets. The plug-in can’t be removed or moved to an SD card. Your device will notify when plug-in updates become available. You can either change your settings to allow the plug-in to be automatically updated or you can accept updates manually. This Plug-in can be downloaded to any Galaxy tablet or phone that does not have it installed.
Other Android Phones/Tablets: The Samsung Print Service works with any Android KitKat (4.4 or later) device. KitKat was the first Android version to include the “Android Print Framework”, which allows an Android app to access a built in printing system. Your device will notify when updates for the Samsung Print Service are available.
SUPPORTING PRINT FOR APPS
You can check if your Android App supports printing. To do this, look for a print icon in the App’s menu (three dots, three line or “More”) or use the “Share” function.
Printing is supported by many everyday apps, including Chrome, Photos, Chrome and Gmail.
You can print from many more apps or send them to the Samsung Print Service.
TURN ON THE SAMSUNG PRINT SERVICES
You may be unable to find any printers. In this case, you can enable the Samsung Print Service.
To locate the Samsung Print Service, go to “Settings” on your phone. Next, toggle the switch between “Off” and “On”.
Supported printers include Brother, Canon and Epson as well as Fuji Xerox, HP. Mopria certification is not available for all models.
