WhatsApp gets an AI sticker generator
Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of our everyday lives. That’s why more and more apps are getting AI functions that, at least according to the developers, are supposed to offer great added value. This is exactly what is supposed to happen in WhatsApp. WABetaInfo has discovered in the latest beta version 2.23.17.14 for Android, that you can create stickers yourself with the help of AI. You only have to describe them roughly with a few words, and then a sticker is displayed that you can send in WhatsApp. This looks like this:
According to WABetaInfo, the new feature is only available to a small group of selected beta testers and is still being tested on a small scale. However, since AI functions are becoming increasingly common and time plays an essential role for new functions, it can be assumed that the new feature will be released relatively soon. The parent company Meta (formerly Facebook), is huge in this business and is currently pushing out everything possible.
In the end, this means that you will soon be able to easily create your own stickers with just a few words, which, ideally, no one else has ever used before. So you don’t have to live with what’s offered in the sticker packs as before. This creates much more freedom and allows you to express yourself even better.
AI system not known
It needs to be made clear which AI generator WhatsApp uses to create stickers. All that is known is that it is supposed to be a “secure technology from Meta.”
