Google has introduced an update for its Pixel phones. Users can look forward to an improved battery life.
Every year smartphones get better and better, but even the best Android phones still need help to offer a long battery life. The Pixel smartphones are no exception. Google was unsatisfied with its battery-saving mode for the Pixel phones, as it introduced a new Android 14 Beta 3 feature.
Longer battery life: This is how the new Pixel feature works
A slight change in the battery-saving mode was discovered with the latest Android 14 Beta 3 update. The feature now darkens the wallpaper when the mode is enabled. Besides the new darkened wallpaper, the icons on the home screen are apparently highlighted with a new highlight effect.
This is automatically turned on when the battery-saving mode is enabled on Android 14 Beta 3 and does not require any changes to the settings by the user. Google is probably trying to get more battery life from its Pixel devices. Alternatively, you can activate the extreme battery-saving mode if necessary, but this changes the appearance of the phone a lot.
